I advanced, you retreated.

I need to get more done on Carrier - kinda falling behind. Oof. Too much social life. Went to the Nelson-Atkins on Friday with lovely Dawn Sanders who gave me a fascinating tour - man, that place has SUCH an amazing collection, and this was breathtaking - just spectacular. Also, they have one of my favorite paintings in the whole world - Persephone, by Thomas Hart Benton. Now, back to work work work. Illos to do, Carrier to finish, freelance to wrangle. I am still finding time to run almost every day, which is SO GOOD - I take one or both of the dogs, and run around Gillham Park two or three times. The weather is perfect - breezy and cool in the mornings, with maybe a tiny bit of rain. I heart the run. |

Persephone??? Dude, that is one of my favorites, too. You DO have good taste in art, lady.
I didn’t recall where it hung, now I know.

Missourian. That’s what you are now. A Missourian.
Welcome to the club.
And the Cards are…uh…better than the Rockies! (Decidedly not a sports fan, but honor bound to vaguely mention the home town team.)

Also, I thought the title of this entry was “I advanced, you retarded.”

Considering who I was thinking of when I wrote it? Retarded is not too far off.
Go Team Missouri!
