The five inches of white space applies to Firefox 3 as well.
Even if you don’t have plans to use your URL, you should keep it or else some shady Russian will snatch it up to redirect your traffic to their porno sites. And you’ll never get it back.
I speak from experience.
And by “visit” if you also mean “subscribe to the rss feed” then, Yes.

Oh, luv. Had I known you were still around, I’d have waited for you after my divorce rather than hooking up with my new girlfriend. Then again, maybe I’m amazed that it took you longer to fix your blog than it took me to find love again.
