Studio time

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the studio right now - trying to up my output.
What I have been working on:
Pencils in progress
Here is a TERRIBLE iPhone pic of a piece in progress. Pencil on Rives BFK. I am thinking of coloring it partially with enamel, partially with watercolor.

Enamel painting
Enamel on wood, and it’s DRIVING ME CRAZY. The enamel isn’t spreading well, and I have all kinds of unforeseen ridges. I am going to try sanding it down - hopefully that will work. Grr.

Hooker wall is growing...
WALL. OF. HOOKER. CARDS.
I’d like to fill the whole wall to start with. After that… well, I have ideas, but nothing I am ready to talk about yet. Except that I might do a giant hooker card. One thing about Vegas is that it does make me want to build everything on a monumental scale.

Oh, wow. I’m loving the pencil piece. And your wall of hooker cards, haha! That’s fantastic.

The pencil on Rives work is gorgeous; one of the most beautiful works I’ve seen you do. I check in with your website every now and then to see what’s happening and wish you the very best in your artistic pursuits, whichever direction they take you. I admire your dedication to your vision and the bold willingness you have in driving along all the snaking turns such pursuit so often requires. My deepest wishes to you for happiness and fulfillment, Laurenn.
