There are angels in your angles - there’s a low moon caught in your tangles

I. HAD. SO. MUCH. FUN. Prom was awesome. I danced till my dress fell apart (serious! I popped my straps!) Dewey is an excellent dancer. Kara is more fun than the world even knows. I danced with Hankerton. We played Balloon (which, evidently, you should not play to win, but just for the love of Balloon). I took a million pictures, and so did Dawn. There was cigar smoking and lightning bug chasing. It was the most fun I’d ever had at any dance, ever. Nikol was an amazing gracious hostess, and I can’t wait to get back out to H-ville and just hang out with her. I am thinking that I will head out there with Kara in mid-June, and just spend a few days offline, drawing and chillin’, yo. Maybe get a new tattoo! The rest of my Memorial day was chill - a bbq here, some work done there. I am planingon really knuckling down this week, and seeing how many pages I can get done. Trying not to get anxious, just put my head down and WORK. Hard, heading into convention season. SDCC might be the only one I hit, and I think I’m ok with that. How about y’all? How are your summer plans shaping up? |

Nothing compared to yours! I don’t think I’ve ever danced so much that my clothes fell apart.
You guys looked Fab-You-Luz.

What a cool idea to hold a prom at Harveyville. Looks like fun.

Prom looked great this year — I’m totally forcing Ashley to go if it happens next summer.
For the rest of the summer, we’re pinned here so she can work on stuff for a gallery show in August (OH YEAH I need to buy plane tickets this week). We’ll be out in LA for the first week of August, then (I hope) New York for a week or two in the fall. And there might be an Ikea trip somewhere in there. Go Summer!
