Hey! Internet peeps! I need a favor:
Go look at my online portfolio, and tell me - which do you think are my strongest pieces? Like which pieces, if you were, say, on a Graduate Studies panel, would make you say “YES! This Laurenn McCubbin person should be a Masters student at our school! And, we should give a full scholarship! And some cupcakes! And a pony!”
I’d have to turn down the pony, however. Fuckers are impossible to feed.

I picked 5 and left a “Grad School” comment on each. Good luck, lady.

Um, all of it. Seriously — some pieces are stronger than others, but a general sampling of any random, say, dozen pieces will give the general (and true) impression that you are extremely talented.
I personally like the Stephen Elliott cover illus, the Mission Creek piece, Artbomb Image 2 (with the map and the spoon), and — as an excellent piece of graphic design — the 911 poster #1.
